I had a stressful day yesterday and was ready to kick the dog (not literally) and came across this vid and it put me in a right state of mind pretty quick. Pretty amazing visual video set to some nice toons. Taken from the monorail in tokyo at night (orginal below) and the top half of the video mirrored to the bottom half. Available in HD

Thats what amazes me about this people who say when the go out they care about nothing else but the music. Yes the music is important but if you add something spectacular visually you enhance the whole experience.

I hardly ever notice the visuals when I'm out, but love watching things like this in a theatre, at home etc.

Nice track, playing this as I pack. Funny how a simple mirror makes you look at the world in a different way.


Well I've partied in a dark room with 1 laser, then they upgraded and added another laser ... and now they have the full works. Hasn't changed anything at all, if anything I'd rather be dancing than standing and looking at visuals--whenever I do that, it means the music's not making me move enough.

I think the problem is most clubs just have a few laser lights and some dry ice. I remember a Deep Dish gig, they had that Saturn ring light rig with the massive glitter ball in the middle. They where playing Delirium Innocente and the light was spinning around the ring then the lights on the rig all came on and fired the lasers into the glitter ball. Then the ball started spinning igniting the room with all these moving psychedelic colours. It was incredible. I really walked away thinking I got the Twilo experience

Looking at the vid some more....the night lights are really vivid, the lights in the windows really glow bright. If you did this with a normal cameral, you'd use a longer exposure. But if you moved the camera the pic would be all blury. How did he/she do this with a moving video camera?
