dj-ing to bt is showing up with the latest portable gear(dont expect records)expect a technology driven set.....he has always impressed me with the new gear....although the songs may sound just like the originals(i always like to hear different mixes than heard before)

I saw him do his ableton thing in orlando. it was okay. too much of a greatest hits show. the technogoly was impressive, but the music, until the last 3 songs, wasnt that impressive.

I have always loved BT, and Movements in Still life is my favorite album by far, but I have never seen him live, I would love to though however, not sure I would pony up $100 for it though.

So if you make it as a big time dj/producer and one of the world's best selling pop acts asks you for a remix, I expect you're answer will be "no." I guess that's keeping it real... real broke and real obscure.

If it was me, I'd make the best damn track it could with what they give me, the big fat check, and the huge publicity.

True, since I can never see myself using my music to make a living I tend to be a bit of a purist. And in all fairness I believe BT enjoys his music I guess it was just a coincidence that one of the tracks i didn't think was so great happened to have the bloke from n-sync singing on it. I though Pop was pretty reasonable actually.

True, since I can never see myself using my music to make a living I tend to be a bit of a purist. Nothing wrong with getting paid off what you love doing, except that it's hard as fuck to figure out how. So far nobody seems willing to give me a paycheck for puffing trees and watching Tivo. You believe that shit?
