Lost has been one of the most famous thriller series that's ever telecast on the television sets. The other series lived up to the audience expectation but it would be an interesting thing to see if the last and the final one lives up to the expectation.
Regarding the most recent episode, "What Kate Does:"

Can we really be sure that it was really Jacob that appeared to Hurley anymore? It was as a result of that interaction that Sayid was taken into the Temple. If Dogen and the Others are correct, and he has been "claimed," then Smokey now has a man inside the Temple.
Is being "claimed" the same thing as the "sickness" that Rousseau described? Thinking back, her crew purported to be entirely unphased by the smoke monster after their initial run-in with him, which makes sense if they had been "claimed" by him. Speaking of which, I was trying to reconcile the description of Smokey as "a security system for the Temple," until I realized that that description came from Rousseau's crew, who very well may have been claimed by Smokey -- in which case, you wouldn't expect them to be honest about his true nature.
And speaking of Rousseau, Claire had a distinctly Rousseau-ish look to her, or at least she had that bat-shit-crazy look in her eyes. Has she ACTUALLY been "claimed," or has she just become so distrustful of the Others that they have developed that opinion. For the record, I'm inclined to think that she actually has been co-opted by Smokey, because last time we saw her, it was with Christian Shepherd, whom I think we can all assume was actually Smokey in disguise, but I do have a feeling that her true "status" is more complicated than we may have been led to believe.
Loving this season so far -- the Kate episode was a little weak, but the others have all been outstanding! I am really going to miss this show when it's gone...
a powerful and insane mothership that occasionally comes commanded by the real ones .. then suck us and makes us appear in the most magical of all lands

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
that was probably the darkest episode of the entire series, but I loved it. We didn't really get any big reveals last night, but it definitely advanced the story in a big way and set things up going forward.
As an aside, Terry O'Quinn is in the role of his life right now. Dude has just been awesome lately, and I have to imagine that for an actor, this has just got to be a blast because there's so much variation in the characters he's playing.

Have never seen Josh Holloway before LOST but I reckon he's holding his own against O'Quinn and Emerson.

Finally it is really amazing how fine the intricacies of the plot are and how grand the tapestry is taken as a whole. Looking forward to the final season - hopefully it will cement Lost as the finest serial drama ever.
I thought its been fairly boring so far. You've got this this sliding doors scenario where the plane actually landed in LA for half the show and the other half of the show spent with people just roaming around the Jungle
