A new decade is underway, and the DAMAGED GOODS ball is not only rolling, but quickly gaining momentum. After an extremely successful launch party, HARMONIC looks to turn up the heat at King King on February 12 with an apple of all techno enthusiasts’ eye, Bunker NY resident and dance floor pillager, DEREK PLASLAIKO. Hailing from Detroit, Derek was involved with the mid-nineties techno movement there and shared the stage with the likes Ricardo Villalobos, Baby Ford, and Matthew Herbert. It was around that time that Carl Craig asked him to play Movement: Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival (DEMF). He was also part of the original team of DJ’s involved with the Untitled parties, along with Matthew Dear and James T. Cotton. The bottom line is that the dude is the truth, and is guaranteed to rock your world. Ask somebody!
