From what I saw, it seems like they were picking mix cds that were different and unique at the time they came out and were ahead of the curve.

Stuff like the Bedrock, Renaissance and other mixes mentioned were good no doubt but weren't anything innovative or different I'd say.
        Piss off you phucking wanksters!

                ^^^lol

On topic, I find the list quite good maybe I don´t agree with it 100% but sill.
For example Magda´s She´s a Dancing Machine is a cd I can´t really get in to. On the other side her Fabric cd is fantastic imo.
Agoria´s Cute Cult cd is way better than his At the controls.
The same goes for Dixon´s Body Language.

All in all I believe it´s a good list and will definitely check out the cd´s that I don´t know.

^^^ exactly, whether you agree with these lists or not, they're a good resource to find stuff that may have slipped by you during the year

Definitely agree that T4 should have featured there...more so than (ahem) GU 019 .....T4 is intelligent, moody, dark and light blending into each other perfectly, almost like a perfect map of the human mind

Finished playing Dixon's release - it hardly pulls up any trees, in fact I found it average and the "Eraser" moment was hardly epic

You could randomly pick any 2 x Ben Watt radio shows and find more inspiring deep house.
                      sigpicSimonR

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Can we leave it in the last decade now that it made the list?

Did anyone else notice that most of them listed where actually DJs mixes that where related to Fabric in some way.

What Zabiela's Utilities & Alive CDs weren't anything innovative or different, buy Lavelle's GU, Involver and Holdens Balance where.
