Saw Lady Gaga last night

Some of you might flame me for this, but a few girls I know were going to see this and one backed out, so I went to this show last night @ Purdue.

It was a pretty badass spectacle. Tons of costumes and crazy visuals, it was a pretty kick ass show. Too bad the intro opening right below isn't better because it was really awesome. She was behind that big screen that had some recorded projection of her on it, and a counter came on the screen and ticked down and she appeared and sang behind it with some lit up outfit out. Big dance soundtrack and crazy visuals. Was definitely worth seeing.

I saw her a few weeks back - I had a great time, it was a performance art show as much as a gig.
My only criticism was her speechees to the audience are almost the same for every nite - and I dont know how much her backing music was entirely 'live'. She clearly sings live and is very good at it.
I was far to fearful to post on here - safety in numbers

Yeah I could def tell she wasn't doing any lip synching at all. I bet a bit of the bg music wasn't fake, just the few times the screens lifed up and the band appeared. I'm sure most of it was run by a guy on a soundboard somewhere controlling all the pre-programmed synth and drum loops though.

here was my review from the day after after: fantastic - visually stunning, dirty minded, great music - lost a little rhythm and pace in the middle of the show. a bit campy in places but all round artsy club performance. Shes gonna be a superstar so catch her in the small venues while you can!

there was a few mums there with there 7,8 9 year old daughters - they clearly hadnt researched what kind of show it was gonna be!! and were in total shell shock. especially when she shouts 'do you wanna fuck me' to the entire audience plus there is a whole BDSM section! it was most amusing to watch!

Sounds like a great night, I don't know if you could take a young person to an event like that in the UK. It probably depends on the licence of the venue and whether its considered a Gig or a Show

Agreed. Her songs are generic shit pop songs at best. Id put her in the same catergory as Kanye, Beyonce or the Black Eyed Assholes.

The visuals looked decent at least. Fuck it sure, as long as you had fun.
