This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
You said it, Homegrove. Glad to hear some real ass-shaking house and tech house from the Transitions guestmix. I was listening to this on the train on my way to work this morning and had to resist the urge to start pumping my fist
Sound 5 - The Hacienda Must Be Rebuilt (Tim Davison and Nicko Izzo Remix) [RIP Digital 042]
"This remix (which initially started out as a bootleg) is now getting an official release from RIP Records.
This house classic was originally released by Sound 5 on their debut album ’No Illicit Dancing’ on Gut Records in 2000. Signed by Rip Records and with their re incarnation as Soul Mekanik , Kelvin Andrews and Danny Spencer re - released this seminal E track with a Tarrentella : Redanka remix as the supporting role. 10 years on ripdigital gives all those’s who missed it first time round a opportunity to hear the message that is the essence of house music with two fresh and different remixes.
First up is the ME mix which is a mystery even to the record company. It was sent in with only the remix name as its identity. A slow funk workout with cosmic extensions leaves you almost horizontal and poolside. The otherside is well known duo of Tim Davison & Nicko Izzo.A modern upbeat affair created as a bootleg lets everyone known how relevant this track still is on the dancefloor."
Already supported by Sasha & John Digweed.
Congrats and let people know the release date
