Gabor is an amazing talent, everybody should check out the WB's compilation "Metawuffmischfelge".

That mix cd was actually done by Robag alone, live on 3 turntables! One of my favorite cd's of all time.

Was hoping to hear more of that sound with this mix, but unfortunately this mix was didn't really go anywhere, no build up, too housey for my taste, and there were some sound issues about 3/4 the way through and it seemed to throw his rhythm off ever further.

There are 6 tracks playing at once at one point, so I believe his Mac played a part too .

Yeah, but not all at once. I read an interview with him talking about how he mixed the cd live on "several" turntables (maybe more than 3). I'll see if I can find it, it's interesting to hear him talk about it.

I think you said somewhere else that he was after a live feel and so he went for the "closer to the edit" trick (6 different songs playing during track 14, only Les Violons Ivres is left alone). It's a fantastic cd.
