We've used tax evasion to go after people suspected of doing far worse things (e.g., Al Capone). With that being the case, it shouldn't really be all that surprising that a small number of agents would be packing. Once again:

usually, the US marshall service will come, or the state level police. when the fraud goes over state lines (i.e. enron, tyco) the FBI will be the arresting service.

the locals will get involved if a fed/state court denies the suit, but a local one picks it up.

Guns are designed to kill or injure, and if you're buying a new batch of them, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want the newest technology. It's not like we ought to give them muskets because it's "only" the IRS.

You may think it should be deemed illegal, and there are a small but vocal band of nutjobs that share your opinion, but the unfortunate reality is that the income tax has been upheld by the Supreme Court, notwithstanding opportunities to adopt the arguments and reasoning of those who deem it invalid. We may not like it, but it is "legal," and until someone successfully overturns it, it is the law of the land.

Toasty as usual I feel the need to remind you that your gov't is the biggest liar in the world (How you forget this all the time I find wierd). I feel compeled by the absolute purity in my heart to wake up US citizens. You guys are being taken to the cleaners. How you can't see that either is absurd to me as well.
