well the big clubs aren't that bad if you go for a good dj, its just the crowd from 1-3 bites...

nyc scene = return of the mega club
velvet ropes, bad attitudes, and moronic patrons are pretty much the lay of the land right now. only the double-secret mini venues are worth the trouble anymore.

Definitely have to agree with this take.... the only worthwhile places are NA, Cielo, Sully Room, Canal Room... and some of the smaller bars that host local DJs and the like (Leopard Lounge/Sin Sin, Mark Cafe, Le Souk, Nascimiento)...

exactly, which makes our scene better...its not as commercial, like in europe were more honest, dedicated, europe may have crazy party ppl, but are they there for the party or the music
i also have to add, cafe deville on fri nights(13th street & 3rd ave) minimal techno, electro and breakbreats, free and goes from 10- 6 in the morning, kick ass party :wink:

Cyke: Seems to be a lot of people from Belgium on this board, and coming from Breda I don't see a problem in coming to Belgium.
It's deffo time for a meeting, and clubbing night...Psynce and Gloomy are Belgian as well....

...If you're up for a clubbing night, i'm playing tomorrow in Dixies, Brasschaat and on the 8th of januari at La Rocca in Lier. Troggers will attend that last one, maybe you too ?

In columbus ohio, we have one good night for prog house fans, it happens at a upscale place called the Carslile Club. I think the only real reason there is prog there is because the owners don't really care what music is played just as long as there are a bunch of people in there drinking. Plus there is a sweet downstairs that plays all the usual stuff, but that dj also throws in some house with the regular top 40 stuff too. all in all i'd say it's the best club night that Columbus has.

Can't wait to get to NYC, i'm tired of the clubs only staying open till 2:30Am around here. Plus i'd finally get to see the bigger dj's that never come around here.

btw, our clubs here go off pretty regularly, but that doesnt matter since i never leave my apartment.

Well...cant tell that much here too xcept resident djs who are spinning some good deep house sometimes ... but all I can say is that I used to study in LA for almost 4 years and man , I had a fun BLAST over there ... seen Digweed, Tiesto, Sasha, AVB, Sander K, Kazell, missed Deep Dish and so on... damn wut am I doing here?! :?

I'm from new york and the scene here is pretty housy, been to a bunch of deep dish parties and mauro picotto. I've missed Sander K but still trying to catch him, there are a lot of different parties going on all the time, so i try out and go see different parties all the time.
The cops are starting to come down hard though and closing down a couple of places, it blows

i like Roxy in Prague,very goood club but very dirty and play more prigressive,tech.house,musics.I usually go in Zen I like RadostFX too,beautiful girls.
