Look let me get something straight for the 1 millionth time. I love US people. Hands down they are the best people on the planet.. giving, loving, accepting, caring. all those things. But the corrupt elite is what I talk about when I say negative things and they take advantage of the accepting part.

You see unless you are smarter then Geroge Washington I'm pretty sure those rules were put in place for a reason. Like Miro said is a previous thread when the constituiton was writter the world was in some "real" chaos. It isn't like 9/11 changed the world that much that you have to throw all your freedoms away and replace it with "what do I have to hide"

Of course you would Miro.. because communists don't believe in things like country soveriegn rights. I mean the US should be in charge of everything!! It also states that if we are flying over the US to say get to the Bahamas w have to have a US pass.. What a fucking joke!

When you say that communists don't believe in things like a country's sovereign rights, wouldn't those rights include the right to control who uses your airspace? You can't be a cheerleader for the rights of a sovereign while taking the position that every country should be required to let whomever use their airspace, no questions asked. It's inconsistent.

Pretty sure we have to get permission from you all when we use your airspace, by the way. I'd be stunned to learn anything to the contrary. It's an incident to the very nature of respect of sovereignty.

no no you don't get it. you are trying to use a play on words. The US actually won't allow you on the plane if you are flying to the bahamas. Canada doesn't have the power to not let a US citizen on board if you are flying to Alaska.,

I am not trying to use a play on anything, whatever the hell that means. And what does it mean to have a "US Pass?" In the abstract, though, Canada can place whatever restrictions on the use of its airspace it deems appropriate, I guarantee you.

I'm not being difficult. Yes we do control our airspace and if someone from the US comes across in an air balloon then we can do something yes of course

Germany sure seemed to have control weather I could enter their country when I landed from the US at the MUC airport. The German police officer behind the glass with a stern glare and his gun looking over my passport did a good job at that. Also the group of Asian travelers in front of us they told a few to stand in another line while they looked over their passports with monocles to check if they were in fact legit seemed to reinforce this. Most countries around control who gets into their country by airports.

Also please dont argue 'EYE CANT EVEN GET ON MAH PLANE BEFORE IT TAKES OFF IN TEH CANADA', maybe someone knows something you dont and they have stopped you from boarding BEFORE you took off, rather than AFTER. Either way they will stop you at the source or destination if they have a reason to, US/Canada/Japan/whoever...so this isnt a 'TEH USA IS IMPOZING ITS WILL ON TEH CANADA', its security...

Canada can insist on particular screening procedures on flights that pass through its airspace. This should be obvious.
