as far as I know nobody is arguing the fact that you guys can tell which Canadian citizens can get on a flight?? We wer arguing that canada can't tell US who can fly on thier flights.

Canada can tell whoever they want to GTFO if they want, why wouldn't they be able to do that? Last time I went to Windsor I had to stop at the checkpoint, air flight would be the same. Maybe no one just wants to goto Canda much and they aren't turning anyone away.

What does someone getting on a plane who wants to blow it up have to do with the USA enforcing its own no fly zone rules in its own airspace? There will always be gaps in security no matter what gov't it is and whomever is/isn't involved. The issues are unrelated. You are confused.

You still haven't denied that the US enforcing who can fly over US airspace is a bad thing, so therefore screening who can, is correct. Thx.

Also selling scanners, really? I'd like the know the actual number of airports these really would ever be deployed in. Only the small number of huge hubs will justify these costwise, so not that much money in the Illuminati pockets.

I don't think anyone in the US is worried about a militant Canuck boarding a flight to do us harm because (most of) you folks are just so fucking friendly, but anyone that happens to be in Canada can board a flight in Canada, regardless of whether or not they are Canadian. This is of concern because your "we don't allow terrorists in our country" claim is demonstrably false.

well, I was looking for an article about the attempted border crossing in Dec. 1999, that article popped up, and I thought I'd just post it since it compiled a lot more info than just that one obvious incident. Shall I go back and post a direct link to a story about that specific event?
