his cough was always terrible. no real surprise - but he seemed like a really decent bloke.

yeah, he smoked like crazy and drank red bulls like they were going out of style. he'll def be missed on the show.

ya tragic! such a hardass guy...they always seem invincible.

they once showed how he'd drank a flat and a half (something like 50) redbull in a single stint of being awake, chain smoking all the while. tough to get away with that long term.

won't be the same show without him

Very sad....as many have already said, it is a great show, and he was definitely one of the reasons it was so popular. I don't think the show will be the same without him

he was clearly the star of the show....very sad to hear his ...but he barely made it when he had that heartatache....i remember when he was at the hospital after the heart attack and he was chain somking outside of the hospital lobby before his surgery.....
