just a little trivia: The boogie board was invented in the beach town of Carlsbad, where Sean White grew up in (and where I used to live, and will be moving back to shortly).

Shaun White was friggin' amazing, just on another level entirely, both literally and figuratively. The fact that he didn't even need that second run and then went out and just blew it out as he did, just unreal. Would have been easy for him to just mail it in on that second run, but instead he goes for it and lays down a run that people will be talking about for ages. Only 23 years old, too. Crazy.
