This is coming in the spring, I can't wait for it. Also has the actor who played Bunk from The Wire will be starring. Set in New Orleans after Katrina and will focus on the city and jazz music. Should be awesome. The new HBO website looks pretty slick too.

Bunk was THE man on The Wire. He's originally from the Ninth Ward in New Orleans, so this new endeavor should be perfect subject matter for him.

^cool, i didnt know that. he was one of my fav characters from the wire, he was hilarious. i think david simon always is super authentic with his casting so this makes sense.

Watched the premiere, great sofar. Really enjoyed all the music. I just wish I knew more about New Orleans b/c I'm sure there are a lot of subtle inside references and things I missed just because I don't know about the history of the city. I'm sure this is going to be one to have to pay close attention to like The Wire and is going to be very realistic. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
