this could be huge. M$ has definitely done a shit load of RND into the UI. The user experience is definitely one of the reasons I want to get the Zune.

The videos from the phone ive seen kinda show its kinda slow. Its only a demo though.
So far iPhone has the advantage because of the massive amount of Apps and people that develop them
All very clean and simple, similar to what Apple does.
I think that MS know that they can't win the app war with apple so they are taking a different approach. I lot of the things you can do with apps will probably be built into the OS itself. Less 3rd party more native stuff. Who needs a billion apps anyway ?
It looks great, I hope it works out for them... they've put in at least 7 years of dev into this
