Re: How did you find Mercuryserver?

      Nice thread.

I lurked around the gu board eons ago!!, but there wasn't much action. I heard from certain members there was a wonderous land on the iternet that just went by [MS].

people were keeping it a secret and would not divulge the actual place. I actually think it was an exclusive thing at the time..you had to know people who knew people; no what Im sayin'.

Anyway, found it somehow from the gu board and everything that was said of this place was true!

I've been here ever since and never went back to gu.

How I found gu is another story..which I dont remember and could care less.

I consider it a mark of distinction for us that tranceaddict in Australia is pretty close to dead.

I think I´ve remembered. I got a copy of Cattaneo´s 2001 guest mix and went to the old http://www.arts.ualberta.ca/kiss/index.php (no longer working) to find the tracklist. I think there was a link or something to MS...

Was the board Nocturnal beats? I know that's where I first met you, but I was on here before then. Eddie came over from there too I think, but haven't seen him on much as of late.

I came over here after the old pauloakenfold.com boards were closed due to all the flaming ( or so it seemed). Can't recall how I found it, but on the first day I found some link to the history of mercury server and decided these guys had the right idea.

Think it must have been Google for me, back in 2003 or 4. Not as active as some of you folks, but I've come back almost every day since for 6+ years. Great community, the only one I follow regularly, and some great tunes too.

Thanks to those who make it happen.
