that was Dubai's choice. That is what it means to be a sovereign country. You don't have to agree with the US and Israel. Remember one sides terrorist is another sides freedom fighters.Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
something strange is going on here. There is a lot of anti Israeli talk going on in the media. I think israel is going to attack Iran and the US-UK are trying to talk them out of it by painting Israel black in the media. Just my 2 cents I have no proof.Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
what's your beef? What are you calling me a liar about?
Go for it. Ask Reso Toasty and Florida how it worked for them.
I schooled Florida on Building 7
I schooled Reso on Malcolm X, MLK, etc.. pretty much every topic
I schooled Toasty on the Christmas Day Bomber how the US gov't allowed him on the plane..Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
Nothing like ignorance and amnesia as a defence..
He was let on the plane to catch bigger fish...??? Ring a bell??

How embarrassing Toasty I had to do this twice..Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
Looks to me like the upshot of this is that we didn't consider him as serious a threat as he turned out to be, but that's totally different from what you're suggesting.Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
well they knew that he was a terrorist
They were following the suspected terrorist
A sharp dressed man let him on the plane with no passport
They let him keep his Visa... what more do you want?
I mean they KNEW he was a terroist.. Not even a pat down? A secondary search?
If it looks like a duck, qucks like a duck, it is a fish you are saying?Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
Didn't he have problems boarding the plane in the first place? According to them to lawyers in the airport he did. They seem to of missed that in the mainstream media.Originally posted by res0nat0rOK Lets All Stroke Ron Pauls Cock On 3!Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
Guy talks his way onto a plane vs. multiple intelligence agencies from different countries conspire to allow a known terrorist to board and attempt to destroy a plane bound for the US.
Uh, I'm going with option A. Less moving parts, less to go wrong. Remember, only one person has to slip through to do serious damage, as this guy almost did. If you're a terrorist, and your expectation is that you're going to die that day, getting turned away from your flight or capture probably isn't a significant impediment to just taking a flier and hoping you're able to convince someone to allow you aboard.
So I'm clear, and this is a serious question, are you saying that he didn't bring his passport, but nevertheless tried to board the plane using his real name, the one that was on all the watch lists? If that's the case, why bother to try to board without a passport at all? Just doesn't make any sense...Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
you can go with whatever option you want.. but doesn't make it the right option.
You seem to be in denial that he was a known terrorist and he was "let" on the plane - he didn't talk his way on, a sharp dressed man put him on. No searches no patdowns.Comment

Re: Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination
As an aside, after my post last night, I happened to watch a documentary on this where they did a walk-through of his day, and they were very explicit about him having a Nigerian passport. They were quite critical of the current monitoring system as to people who are not on the no-fly list, but who are instead on a lower-level list, in that by design, it doesn't give monitors the opportunity to assess whether that person is a serious threat until about 30 minutes after takeoff.Comment
