You are coming here to San fran !!!!! Nice!!!

One of the things i learned recently is that not only the dj is important but the promoter as well , like for example howells and burrigde will play on sat. and at another place on sunday , I rather go to the one on Sunday.

It seems like you will be able to catch Hernan on thrusday , jamie jones, deniz kurtel, lazarus or M.a.n.d.y on friday .

San fran is an amazing place . Here is a calendar one of my buddies here in Sf made good luck !hope it helps you out

If you're in NYC looking for club nights - Cio D'or & Three are playing at Love on Friday the 26th and Konrad Black & Bill Patrick the next night at a warehouse party. Howells & Burridge will be in NYC the following weekend on Saturday the 6th.

Go to Del Frisco's near Time Square for dinner one night... u can eat at the bar and the wine list is great.

Maybe check out Apotheke after hours.

I always wanted to go eat at one of those. I used to work for Sullivan's which is their 'lower tier' steakhouse. It is still super nice and very good, but this was their top of the line restaurant chain. A chick I used to work with went to work for the one in Manhattan on the Avenue of the Americas and said it was pretty crazy. Do they have the in restaurant wine cellar taking up one of the walls with glass on the outside so you can see it like Sullivan's do? We had a big wine selection, I bet this is even better.

yah, the food and service is really outstanding... if you're not with a date, it's a cool place to grab a drink at the bar with a friend before going out as well...although people are dressed usually in business / business cas attire...whatever though, you're so close to Times Square, you can wear jeans...lol the type of jeans are up for debate.

no wine wall at the Ave of Americas location. But they do have 2 levels and a loft...pretty sic layout.

Anyway, I took a photo of the house riesling last time I was there because it was too damn long to remember:

(outstanding btw) Riesling - Karl Erbes Urziger Wurzgarten Spatlese 2007

After googling it Del Frisco's spelled "Wurzgarten" wrong on the menu must have been in a hurry.

I've seen pics of the Manhattan location and it looks freaking bad ass, I'd love to check it out. Did you know that the same parent company that owns Del Friscos owns Sullivans and also Lone Star Steakhouse? It is all the same company, just under different chain names for lower/upper teir dining.

That company almost always takes an ad out at the front inner fold out page of Wine Spectator magazine and there is always an ad for Del Friscos/Sullivans/Lone Star at the beginning of every issue (at least while I worked there they did). We used to always have to have these lying around the restaurant since it was a cigar / wine bar.

I'm not suprised about the typo, our managers were always reprinting the wine list every week on their PC in Word in the office and restuffing the wine list, probably too busy to notice

I really need to start trying out different wines, I always had to upsell it at work and act like I knew wtf I was talking about, but I was just talking out my ass

Now if they needed a beer sommelier on the other hand, I think I would definitely qualify for that.
