will be downloading some of those movies, good little tidbits there.. just the basic bit about middleton and how he makes his kicks, deffo gives them more depth
i'm using two layered kicks in one the tracks I'm working on, and the punch is really nice

Hey Steve, when you get a chance you should watch the video with Claude Von Stroke. That one doesn't give much production advice, but it has some funny moments...at one point while going over "Who's Afraid of Detroit" he mentions that he would show us how to get the sound he created, but he doesn't remember how he did it. In that same video they ask him about Thor and he more or less replies with a non-answer...the real kicker is at the very end when he summarizes things up. Not the most articulate guy in the world, but the guy can produce some tech hits
