yeah he is.. my mate is a hip hop dj, REAL hip hop.. he's been working with a female MC here in Tampa and Premier has been caning her song on his radio show, plus he's working on making some beats for her to rhyme over and is laying down some cuts and scratches for one of the tracks she's already made. He was here in Tampa recently and they all hung out^ amen to that. that's pretty sweet steve!
just to get a rep is one of their sickest tracks ever done. big gangstarr head here.
it's gangstarr - just to get a rep. but that frame looks like something off "step In the arena." dj premier is a god.
i got a bunch of his mixes and mixtapes that i'm willing to share with anyone who wants them. all my gangstarr albums are on vinyl tho

yeah man, it is cool.. we're in the same stage of our music "careers" (for lack of a better term) except I'm on the house side of things and he's hip hop.. funny how we both deal with the same issues. we work our day jobs together so we get to bounce ideas off of each other and vent over things we see in the area.
He's made some great connections.. Red Alert, KRS1 and of course Premier
