Man hanging out window of car is killed when driver sideswipes power pole in Clearwater


CLEARWATER — A man who was hanging out the passenger window of a moving car was killed early Friday when the driver sideswiped a power pole, police said.
The driver was charged with DUI manslaughter.

The crash is similar to an accident last year in Pinellas Park, when a 20-year-old woman died after leaning her head outside the window of a moving pickup truck, hitting several mailboxes.

Here in Florida the process of Natural Selection seems like a daily science experiment...just get in your car and drive anywhere here and you'll know what I mean.

Hell motorcyclists don't even wear helmets on the highway...

There was a similiar occurrence in the New York/Jersey area a few years ago. Some kids were 'train surfing' when one of them was cut in half by a pole that was over-hanging, perpendicular to the tracks.
