I think the coke overdose deal is just to alleviate the tension of knowing an athlete can die at 43 from a heart attack.

I think dying from a coke overdose would be key, I mean you have to do quite a bit of coke to OD and that shit is the bling.

Also, 43 is kind of old for a football player, I'm amazed he was in the league that long.

In term of your comment that ?I wished a particular death on him?. Let me disagree with you there. My comment happened after his death occurred so it was a mere speculation to the cause of his death. It might come out a little harsh, but the reason for that was not addressed to Reggie, it was more towards ESPN making him a hero and a Role Model now, which let me assure you he was not.

Hopefully it made a little clear for you to the roots of my comments. And one more thing I want to clarify, I am not apologizing to you or anybody else here, just making sure that my message is not misinterpreted.
So a 13 time Pro Bowler is over rated at best?? The all time sack leader (which he was when he retired) is over rated at best? Misinterpreted or not what you said was "Let's hope he died of a coke overodose." There is really no other way to spin it. One comment does not a person make. His comments were way out of line, but do not in any way reflect the kind of person he was and the amount of charity work and involvement he had off the field. Look it up man...it's well chronicled.

As person who enjoys an art of argument, I have to agree that I was wrong to say what I said in my first comment. I appreciate that you point it out to me. My dislike to Reggie should have never been expressed in such an ugly manner. It might be combination of weed and caffeine withdrawal (see my NYR thread). It happens to me sometimes where my emotions take over my better judgment.

            Re: Reggie White.. RIP

Listen no one is perfect in life and yes Reggie White made mistakes like all of us but when you hear the about how he was off the field by numerous people that has to show what type of person he was. On that note RIP amigo and keep praying for everyone.
