    Tsunami hits South East Asia

I don't know if you guys have heard of the tsunami/earthquake that hit South East Asia, but it was quite devastating. An article follows:: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4125481.stm

I can't imagine a 500 kmh wave approaching me. Imagine being at the verge of being hit by a tsunami, probably really cool looking, but then at the same time, you know you are done for. My heart goes out to the families of the surrounding countries that have lost their loved ones. 8.9 is pretty huge on the richter scale, and we can only pray that the death toll will not increase.

      jesus, thats horrible.
is a tsunami so severe and fast they have no way of warning these poor people.
      11,000 deaths is just unimaginable.

there are some serious damage out there, sad to know that thousands of people died, thousands of people lost everything and probably a familiar or friends.. this is sad.. truely sad
Im becoming concerned about these earthquakes lately, there are some in the last 3 or 4 years.. they are killing a great part of the humanity, If some of these one day hit Portugal.. specially Lisbon we would get some bad threatning.

Pray for the Victims, Pray for the people who suffered about this.

it says it slows to about 45km/h when it nears the shore, but imagine flying over the top of it in a plane and seing a wave ploughing over the open sea at 500km/h!

this is something U.S. companies need to really think about. They want to outsource all these jobs to save $...

freakin terrible news...and the body count is probably going to go higher

                          15 000

It says 15 000 dead on CNN and most other news places now. Just an hour ago it was 14 000. They keep raising the total.

Asia quake death toll tops 15,000
