We have another new baby elephant. And this one really is a story with a happy ending. 
His mother was in labour for a week and there was no movement from the calf in that time. It was assumed he was dead, then they found him alive but pretty wonky on his feet . Hence his nickname Mr Shuffles !! They think he was in some sort of protective coma. These elephants are pretty good !!
6 days old now and doing really well.
I love the way the big ones look after him !!
