If you think his life is more important than anybody else's, you're wrong. Who cares about Jet Li? What about the 40,000 people? Do their lives no matter because they aren't on TV? The people that work for free in homeless shelters or volunteer at hospitals weren't important?

Fuck 'em. One life matters, but not any more than any other. It sucks if he's dead, but it doesn't suck any more than any other person that may be dead.
I never said it sucked anymore, or that it was more important. I'd like to see if you, or most of us could hold on to a palm tree with a broken pelvis for 8 hours that's all. You've got your opinions I've got mine dude. At least idon't make fun of people losing their loved ones no matter what their tax bracket is. It sucked for alll 40,000 plus people that perished.

yea, the count just keeps going and going, it reached over 26,000 already. They just keep finding more and more, not counting how many they havent found yet. That is some scary stuff.

This part of Asia is the most populated, nature somehow control it's population. It's not good to say so, but it's true, the biggest catastrophes are there always there, epidemies are started there.

My heart goes out to all those people affected by this tragedy. The pictures on tv are sickening, to see the death and destruction that the tsunami caused is unbelievable. Just goes to show that we are at the mercy of the earth and the elements.

On CNN it says its over 80 000 victims now, and its estimated that in many countries about one third of them are children.
It also says that in Thailand for every Thai that died, two toursits died. Khun Poom Jensen, the grandson of the King of Thailand also died.

I agree with picklemonkey. thats very comendable that she did what she did, and very sad she lost her bf, and that jet li may have died or is missing. BUT.. if she wasnt a model, would it have been on the news? i bet there are LOTS of amazing stories of survival and tragic loss, but we wont hear about them if they are not famous. I am not taking away from what these people endured, but like "they" always say, they are just people like me and you...

it's somewhat like the Pat Tillman story.. I mean yes, what he did was incredible, and unthinkable for the majority of us.. BUT.. 1000's of others have made similar sacrifices. just because he was an NFL player, doesnt make what he did any different than a man that leaves his family behind to serve his country.

                          This is interesting:

"Workers walk on the foundation of the damaged Yala Safari Game Lodge close to Yala Reserve Wildlife Park, 200 kilometers (125 miles) southeast of Colombo, Sri Lanka, Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004. Wild life officials expressed surprise Wednesday that they found no evidence of large-scale animal deaths from the weekend's massive tsunami, indicating that animals may have sensed the wave coming and fled to higher ground. this is terrible, there are over 25,000 dead in Inonesia, over 15,000 in Sri Lanca, 9,000 in India I would really like to do something for the people who suffered this disaster since Im a part of the medical/rescue team.
                                WHATTT!!!
