        i also heard there were stories of people scuba diving off the coast and the did'nt know what had happened because they were under the wave.....they left paradise and came back to hell

                no shit ...but none of them got washed up or were drug in by the water.. i thought that maybe the water force would have pushed some fish inland..

                I thought they said: 7km. (4.3Miles)
                i mean water speed ...tsunamis get up to 500 kph but how fast was it once it hit land and how fast did it travel

                  ^^ 45kph when it reached land. Don't know how fast it did travel. Tsunamis can even reach a speed of 900kph.

                    But that's only in open water, right? When it reaches the shore and the water get shallower, it slows down and rises.
