Bliss Distraction starts with glitchy beats, and operates with lots of changes in the microstructure later on. The constantly evolving formant lead is accompanied by a heavy bassline, which gives a strong, characteristic feel to this track. Bambaat's remix is more straightforward and deep, introducing some heavy bass riffs and a mellow breakdown. The MFoM remix on the other hand has a clubbier approach to the original, with it's driving groove and hardstylish hover sounds. The b-side of this release, Out Of Balance is something we'd call funky acid based on some top class tech-house beats. Little chirpy leads and highly resonant patterns are constantly whirling around, giving the impression that the tune never stops, and makes you want to do the same. Again, MFoM re-interpreted this into a club killer, adding a heavy, dark bassline and twisting the hell out of the original synthlines. Perfect for destroying the dancefloor, it is.
