I remember when MS went down for like 6 whole months...nowhere to be found. I'm sure Kamal remembers that time period. Most of the old members were gone when it came back up.

And you had to choose a moderator to sign up with. I agonised over it for ages before realising that it actually didn't matter which one you went for. Sheepie I think I went for.
And before this Mercury Server was a room in Audio Galaxy. I didn't know them in those days, but this is what I've heard.

I guess that's how rumors start. We were at no stage gone for half a year. I can't remember how long it took exactly to move from the grey/blue php board to the vbulletin Software but it was surely not half a year without [ms]. Actually I can't remember a time where [ms] was more than a few days offline. But I could be wrong and have maybe displaced this memory lol.

I dont think it was 6 months, more like 2 weeks. I spent the time arguing with the webhost that they deleted my account without asking (like cunts) and if they could try and recover it. I then spent a week looking for a webhost and we ended up with another one.
