finally. i listen to his 2004 emix from time to time... and it's massive. the movie excerpts he included are great.

That was one of his best mixes ever. When he was at the top of his game.

This mix however, is top shelf.

I really enjoyed this mix. It easily stands out from the rest of the recent Essential Mixes in my opinion. I liked the movie Moon so I didn't mind the sound clips; I thought they gave the mix a cool vibe. Yeah, concept mixes can be kind of unusual but I was feeling this one. Good job to Mr. Z.

I have to review my earlier comment...after listening to this mix again, it stared to grow on my and quite like it.

I guess it's this kinds of set that you need to be in right mood to really appreciate.

EM of the year for me. This is what the EM should be - DJs trying something different rather than having a biggest dick contest as to who has the most upfront tunes.

Bit of time and effort goes a long way. Up there with the early FSOL & Oakey mixes. Danny Howells as someone else mentioned puts the effort in and their mixes stand the test of time as a result.

Hadn't seen Moon - inspired me to check it out. Great film!
