Comp CD of the Year?

There are three compliations I really enjoyed this year. The first one is Cattaneo's Renaissance Masters Vol. 1..my CD's are already so worn out from playing them up and down all the time. I just can't get enough of Catta's sexy prog house beats. The second CD I am really glad that I bought it (after listening a preview on Digweed's Kiss100 show) is Pig & Dan - Submission Sessions Vol. 1 which features only own releases from the production duo Dan Duncan & Igor Tchkotoua mixed together. The sound is very hypnotic and unique and somewhere between Progressive and Techno. The third CD which stood the test of time is Sasha's Involver. Hearing his Burma remix for the very first time in my life in CD quality is a moment I will never forget...goosebumps all the way. There?s not one track I didn't like on this album so it was definately worth the ??.
I am looking forward to purchase Digweed's Fabric 20, Fortier's Balance 007 (after listening to a preview because his Audio tour was a 17 ? expensive let down for me in 2004 ) and Catta?s Renaissance Masters Vol. 2 next year.Comment

Involver. Every time I listen to it I notice something new and cool. Some little sounds here and there... It makes me wonder how much work must have gone into it. Each sound is on its place there. Not a single one unnecessary or missing. Except for the last 2 tracks. They are unnecessary in their whole. Otherwise it would be a perfect cd. :wink:Comment

Flat out ... Sasha Involver. nothing even came close to such a production and value. There were some other good ones, but truly a sad year in music for EDM.
that's why you always have 80's. understand?dead, yet alive.Comment
