Thanks to all for the response to our first PURR show on Proton Radio last month, especially to James Zabiela for allowing us to air his "little slice of heaven" from a visit here earlier in the year.
I'll most likely make my warm-up for Lee Burridge, which aired before James' set last month, available on my ftp at some point in the near future. I'll post a link at that time.
This Tuesday night, we're starting out the show with another live warm-up set of mine, from our night with another one of my favorites DJ Three, in August 2004. (length - 1:20).
As always seems to be the case this time of year, I start to reflect on the past 12 months. So many great things happened in 2004, there are too many experiences to name, and I can't believe it, but 2005 is looking even better.
When I get in this sappy reminiscent state, I usually end up doing one of two things.... 1) going to the local shop and making some really poor record purchases, or 2) putting together a chill mix. Lucky for you, I stayed out of the record store this week.
"Winter Chill 2" (1:40) is a follow up to the original "Winter Chill" I put out in 2002. Needless to say, it's an enormous departure from what we do in the club every week, but I hope you'll find it as refreshing as the live sets we'll bring you on the show. Track list follows:
