Well actually i know am ignorant but what i picture now about the WMC is that it a bunch of parties taking place at different spots with big names every where for a certian interval of time (correct me if am wrong) and thats it .. i dont get this part about the conference thing , the badge , ?? does suddenly miami turn intoa big club ??!!! i really have heard alot about the wmc and the gigs that take place there and i really would like to go butthe point is that am no where near the west side of the earth so i need some basic knowledge about this ....

I think the conference itself actually sounds pretty boring... I'm just going to get on the beach and check out all the parties... which is probably why 75% of everybody is going -

there is an actual conference at the radisson hotel i believe. they have seminars, debut new equipment etc. etc. the badge is for this and this only. some of the clubs offer a discount with a badge but it's usually like $5 or so.
in my six years of attendance at the wmc i have never even seen the radisson hotel. just go for the parties unless you need to figure what cd mixer is coming out next year.i really wish the floor would stop moving!Comment

The badge is cool if you have the cash to shell out...PLan on spending more money to pay the bouncers, tip whomever to actually get in, and then drinks are well...obscenely overpriced even w/o the tip. The badge also gets you into Ultra for free, but the tix aren't that pricey. Screw the badge. Go see the clubs you wanna, go to the beach/hotel parties in the am. drink. powernap, go for a swim, and do it all over again...
