I just saw this movie last night with my girlfriend.I can't remember the last time I laughed as much as I did during this movie. If you didnt know it stars Tina fey who is gotta be the funniest woman in movies. Also starring Steve Carell who is just as funny.Highly recommend seeing this movie.
steve carell is the same person in EVERYTHING he does, somewhat funny, but has ZERO range for an actor.. having said that, this movie does look like it's a good laugh
He really hasn't had that many movies to show his range. He did a pretty decent job as a pompous News Anchor in that Jim Carrey movie Bruce Almighty.
Give him time. Once he's done with The Office, I'd be interested in seeing if he's got anything else to offer.
But Date Night wasn't too bad. Very easy, very formulaic and very predictable. Him and Tina Fey made this a lot better than it really should have been. Stick around for the end credits to hear some really funny ad libbed outtakes.

A lot of the work listed is TV and voice over work. But thanks for that anyways, it reminded me how good he was in Little Miss Sunshine as the suicide case (and proves that he's got a bit more range than most will give him credit for).

he's done voice overs yes, but in tv and movies he's been in more than a few roles, and he's the same, nothing really wrong with it, just fact
