    New John Digweed CD out in June plus an April Bedrock Podcast

    Looks like Mr Digweed has a new release called 'Structures' in June. Details have been getting leaked bit by bit (Quivver mentioned that he's got a track on there), so I thought I'd post what's been available so far

    The 3 x CD set is called 'Structures' - snazzy pic below that appeared on the Bedrock board following a Twitter by John over the weekend:




    Bedrock look to have been signing up tons of top notch artists - so hopefully the format is similar to Bedrock 11 (i.e. some exclusive music that we haven't heard before on the millions of comps that seem to come out).

    I must say, the label has been on fire of late - plus Diggers has belted out some great tunes so far in 2010, no doubt road-testing some of the 'Structures' music. Also you can now stream forthcoming releases via Bedrock's Soundcloud page:

    To wet the appetite there's a new Bedrock Podcast that's just appeared today - usual format, a half hour from John showcasing forthcoming Bedrock releases.

    This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

                                  I hope I like it! I hate it when he puts a CD out and I don't care for it... it makes me sad. When he put the fabric cd out I was sad for years.

                                          Exciting times, indeed! Presumably "Structures" will be following the format of Bedrocks 10 & 11 - 2 CDs mixed, 1 unmixed, all tunes on the label? Though I'd quite like all 3 to be mixed, and not "restricted" to the label - but that's just me... Anyway, I look forward to learning more information about the CD; for now, the podcast

                                                  but in Bedrock 10 & 11[both infinite for me] there was no name like now ....

                                                  ... feel that are on the way new unique John concepts, like in the Transitions series


                                                  the true meaning of Structures can only be understood Live


                                                  so Juan will have to come to SouthAmerica for the good of the island
