technically speaking, he's no better than a C IMO. however he doesn't shy away from putting together tracks that most would not attempt (which gives him some credit). while this set sounds like loads of his others, it's the first time it has peaked my interest. most likely it is that i just do not fully appreciate his sound (b/c frankly it bores me at times). i am thankful that this set finally sparked an interest, so hopefully i will be able to listen in the future. i am "trying" to like him though!!!Comment

I saw him live a couple of weeks ago, playing a 5-hour set, and it really surprises me how he can be considered "boring". I realize he has gotten a lot housier than he used to be, so maybe people that call him boring are judging based on the past.
I´ve seen A LOT of great DJ´s in the past year, and Seth was, for me, the best, only Martyn came close, with Carl Craig and Ben Klock a bit behind them.
In fact, I´d go so far as to say that in 10 years, Seth Troxler and Martyn will be amongst the all-time greats of the trade.Comment
