with all the technologies today, i can't believe there is no good way to stop the oil leak. fuckin terrible.
There is a way, BP just wanted to try and contain that oil so they wouldn't have to build a new rig (cost around $4 billion). There is a plan in the works to pump mud and cement into the busted pipe over the weekend. We'll see.
Music is the answer, to your problems. Keep on movin', till you solve them.
This has gotten ridiculous. If the government could stop this regardless if BP stands to lose money or future production, they should have done it days ago. I feel that Obama, the government and the media aren't taking this that seriously.

you wanna know how seriously they're taking it? You know that video of the leak at the bottom of the gulf showing the oil spilling out? Yeah, that video sat at the white house for about two weeks (iirc) until some third party managed to get it to the press. The white house isn't interested in helping out for two reasons. 1) obama has already pushed for new gulf drilling, so he's going to look like a tard to the hippies that concern themselves with such things and uninformed window lickers. 2) this gives obama carte blanche to push for more regulations and taxes on corporate america.

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

F these guys.

what conspiracy? That 20k barrels a day are going into the ocean? Or more like 250k.... You watch it will come out that people that petitioned the BP oil spill will be on watch lists as political activists. I mean Ron Paul supporters are already on watch lists why not oil volcano activists??
While some data were being transmitted to shore for safekeeping right up until the April 20 blast, officials from Transocean, the rig owner, told Congress that the last seven hours of its data are missing and that all written logs were lost in the explosion.
