War Shogun. I think Machida wasn't mentally prepared to fight Shogun again after he clearly, in my mind, lost the first fight. Even better news is that Shogun has confirmed he is ok with fighting Anderson Silva which would be one of the most anticipated MMA fights to date.

      205 is back

if Rampage wins there can be a "got snubbed by the judges in a title fight" title fight with shogun that also happens to be rematch, that'll be something

they got Jon Jones on "the Janitor" , y do u think that is ??

How can the janitor be a step up from Vera...??!?!? Blows my mind how they decided his next fight.

Good for Shogun and I can't wait to see him and Silva fight. My money's on Silva though...

Also, good for the UFC for cutting Daley's ass.

Shogun will break Silva with those devastating leg kicks. If he can kick Machida he can kick Silva.

Gonna need more than leg kicks to take silva. Last few people haven't even been able to touch Silva.

            Anyhow, hopefully we'll see.

Shogun is the shit right now. I want to see him and Anderson Silva go at it.

Actually, I think the best fight going right now is if GSP moved up to fight GSP. Boy wouldn't that be a barn burner.

GSP will not be the wrestler he is if he moves up and the wrestling makes him what he is right now. Take down, pass right with awful submission technique against Hardy. Did i mention take down, pass right in his last 15 rounds or so ... with that being said , dude is no joke

Kicks against Silva ? ummm no ... Shogun and Silva will be epic and near impossible to predict. Silva's conditioning looked suspect in his last fight. I hope they both take the center of the octagon and go for it. This fight will show just how good Silva's technique is and what kind of bad ass Shogun is ... Its a no loss for him, cause if he does lose i think he has more time in the division than Silva, its mind boggling how relevant the middle weight champ is at light heavyweight, that's what gives him the nod as the best in the world ... they're obviously holding off jones to work Rampage, Rashad and Rogerio all of whom are 30 plus ... 205 will be entertaining and difficult to predict. But most of us will still try.

I'm glad Shogun won this one. There's something about Machida that I just find really dull. He's always too defensive of a fighter. but oh well... let's see where things go from here.

Silva vs. Shogun, that's a tough one to pick. Silva is always so unpredictable. I don't' think he was all that slow during his last fight, he just got too cocky and lazy because it wasn't even a real fight for him. He was like a tiger playing around with a mouse.

a tired tiger ... after thinking about it, if it happens sooner than later Silva will take it. Rua's attack is some of the best in the business but i dont see him dropping Silva. I've never seen Silva trouble. Silva has developed his boxing to another level. Rua has the advantage in grappling, if uses his full arsenal it will give him the best chance.
