After a build up of anticipation over here at .Dotbleep industries, we proudly announce the first solo project from our CEO and the Duke of Chicago house music Justin Long. Justin, a Chicago born native, is no stranger to the sound of the city that he speaks as if it were his first language. Over the past 20 years Justin has faced many battles with sound systems from his country of origin to distant lands and beyond leaving his flag wedged into dance floors long after the speakers have been defeated and left in a pile of rubble!

The first order in this doctrine of sound holds the title Strange and features the vocal talents of J-Dub a fellow house music technician and comic book savant. Locating mutual comfort zones in the studio, Dub's voice fused together with the mad science methods of Justin resulting in a comprehensive finish to this manifestation of the Chicago dance sound. Here we uncover a glimpse into the minds of two local grown artists and their sonic mandate of dance floor disorder! Full of 808 beats, Jupiter bass bumps, freak show undertones and mysterious vocals. There is no question as to why it has been sending crowds into a frenzy once the needle is dropped!

The second order of this dogma titled Stranger Than You Is a look into the darker side of the house that Justin calls home. Being a firm believer that there are many rooms in the home of house music, we find our anti hero channeling influence from the likes of Gemini, Cajmere and Carl Craig in a voodoo witchdoctor manner. This number features a tracky dub approach full of bass, horns and haunting voices that will lead the dance floor into the next revolution!

Bringing this order to a close we find Stranger in the Silence a Chicago style version that brings us back to the days of Dance Mania Recordings. Justin, being a fan of the label since its start, decided to go back and isolate the drum machine away from the other elements in a grass roots approach to create a weapon that will shake and rattle the foundations of all opposition. It does not get any more Chicago then this!

Justin has recently turned out remixes for DJ Sneak, Shady Tvo and Basic Soul Unit and is a 9 year resident DJ at Chicago's house music institution Smart Bar. Justin finds himself in membership with the calamitous duo Wasted Chicago Youth along with Mazi Namvar of Audio Soul Project. The duo is releasing their live from Smart Bar mix album in May along with their next single Dustbin Boogie Woogie on Fresh Meat Recordings.
