Jose Manuel Marqués also know as Marvin Deno is a versatile and legendary dj and musician from Valencia. He started in the last century around 1991 with his first sets as a dj and his art-director job in several local clubs like Roxy Club, Fun or Juanita Club. But Marvin is not only a dj, he plays several instruments like Spanish guitar, electric guitar and some percussion. He started the band Jah Macetas showing the reggae style in Valencia and playing at important festivals in Madrid, Barcelona and his Valencia.
Always worried about presenting something new, in 2000 begins Hidrophonik Sound System, to explore his electronic side. This takes Marvin to play in Hossegor, Wicky, Carioca, Barraca, La Indiana, and much more, working with the most important agencies of Valencia. Also in the coolest VIP parties like BMW Oracle, Red Bull and Gandía Blasco.
In the fashion point, he has worked with several clothes designers, creating the selection, composition and musical coordination of their fashion shows. We speak, for instance, of Alejandro Saez de la Torre ‘Porfin’ and Encarnis Tomero.
This 2010 sees a Jose Manuel involved in three different stages: First one his band Baron Dandy y sus Rumberos, where he can develop his acoustic side, playing the Spanish guitar and singing. Second one his dj roll as Marvin Deno in the nice Miniclub, sharing booth with Daniel Kyo. Here he’s playing with stunning artists like Jimpster, Mike Shanon, Nacho Marco, Funk D'void, Chymera, Motorcitysoul, Soul Minority, David Durango, Sasse, Roberto Rodriguez, Alton Miller… and a long etc. Finally pay attention to his studio job in the electronic field in the recent formation Soulmade, with Kiko Martínez and Alberto Sola.
