This is my first time in the states and I feel like I’m home. It’s a weird feeling but seems like I connect with the people here, with the culture, the way of thinking,… since I got here I haven’t had one second of a bad experience. Everyone and I mean everyone is so freaking nice to me, everyone wants to give me their time, attention, offering their help even tho I haven’t asked for anything at all, amazing really. It’s a big culture shock but a very pleasant one. I don’t know what you guys think about your country but all I can say it’s amazing. I won’t stay here but I will definitely be coming back a lot and maybe one day I will stay

i'm currently in seattle, by the end of next week i'll be in portland then i'll go to san francisco and then to los angeles and at the end i'll be in san diego. wooo
had an amazing day today aswell and people are offering me well almost everything, free rides to downtown, i got a free tour on this tour-bus, i was invited to celebrate a family gathering with ppl i never met before, so sweet, a free hotel room almost freaked me out but it was then explained to me as an promotional opportunity (turned it down tho coz i already payed for my room),.... i'm starting to wonder if this is maybe getting out of hand?? i wonder whats gonna happen when i go into a night life (nope havent done that yet) ... well i will continue to enjoy my stay (obviously) and make the most of my experience

the northwest has very unique atmosphere to it. unfortunately the rest of the US does not have nearly as many friendly people. enjoy your time tho

Glad you are having a good time. You should enjoy San Diego also, people are really nice there. I hope you'll have fun here in Los Angeles... some people and some places around here are outright dodgy!!!! We do have nice weather though.
