    Re: Network

Why don't you simply rename your network name to 'FUCKOFF' and password protect it

        Re: Network

if he has file and printer sharing enabled, you can go to Network Neighborhood, click to view ALL computers and see if his machine pops up. Then you can access any "shared" components of his network.

Remember though, he can do the same thing to your computer too and worse, if he is good with computers, he can essentially password protect your router before you can lock him out. Then you have to do a hard reset to get your router back to Factory Defaults and set it up again.

If he's shared his printer, why not create a document in 72 pt type that says :

          QUIT STEALING MY INTERNET CONNECTION

and send it to his printer.

Find his IP, then try to browse to it. For example, put this in explorer: \\192.168.0.102\c$

Do it in the exact format ( \\ip_address\c$ ).

If that doesn't work, try this instead to see if he has anything shared: \\ip_address\

                  Re: Network

You should also try to connect to his registry via regedit, File, Connect Network Registry, IP address, OK.

If this works, you can really start to have fun. I used to connect to coworkers PCs back in the day to change their wallpapers, point their My Documents or Favorites to new locations, etc.

man you're pretty chilled out for someone who knows someone else is in you private network. I'd be freaking out, changing passwords, updating router security and everything under the Sun.

Get Wireshark to sniff packets. You won't sniff their PC password but you should be able to sniff their website passwords if your wireless card lets you listen in promiscuous mode
