Re: Oakie's awesome!...right?
last i checked, Chunky never played Luton. Or so i heard.you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky
it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

its not me who’s got a chip on his shoulder. I posted a funny clip that got posted on several boards by several other people and you start a diatribe about how you were witness to another an episode of Sasha being fucked up at a gig. I don’t know where you’re getting the idea that I’m touting Sasha as some kind of angel that never fucks up. I frankly dont give a damn... He’s a big dog that seems to like my music, that the extent of it. I’ve met him 2 times in my life, one of which he was mangled beyond belief and didn’t remember shit.
Here’s a picture, and, as you can see, he doesn’t look too good does he? (and nither do I for that matter) Maybe he licked his face later on too, who knows?
But anyway, It was good to see you raise you head in the oakie video from under the booth at 54.secs. I guess you were trying to get a look around at the crowd as Oakies golden privates, fantastic as they might be… are not everything.
I guess now I know what you do when you’re not taking pics of Diggers pissing.

Your post disintegrates into the rambling of a 12 year old child after this so you may as well save it for your boring bedroom making musicOriginally posted by res0nat0rOK Lets All Stroke Ron Pauls Cock On 3!Comment

Re: Oakie's awesome!...right?
Mate one just has to look at your post history to see who’s got a chip on their shoulder about anything and everything in life. For some reason though you’ve chosen to become Oakie’s defense lawyer… good for you. I think Oakie was fantastic once and now is a twat….. It’s an opinion that I expressed in a previous thread that you jumped all over like.
Ok dude..I’ll say it “Oakie is the shit, he the dogs Bullocks” …. Happy?
Now go pick on someone of your own caliber (i.e. People who make zero contribution to the scene and just talk shit on boards) and leave me to "my boring bedroom making music."Comment

Nope not just Oakie, I seem to remember voicing similar on other DJ's to. Funny how you are now judging people on their contrabution to the scene, a bit of a u turn since the start of the threadOriginally posted by res0nat0rOK Lets All Stroke Ron Pauls Cock On 3!Comment

Re: Oakie's awesome!...right?
That was one stupid video if you ask me.....not all that funny tbh. If you are surprised by how he is dancing and acting in the video, you clearly have never seen Oakie live...he always dances around like that.
As for the argument that is going on in this thread, I am staying out of it. The people on here that know me, know exactly where I stand....all I will say is, if you don't like him, don't listen to him or watch videos of him and carry on with your day.sigpic

Re: Oakie's awesome!...right?
Yes I witnessed plenty of legendary Paul Oakenfold sets at Cream including at the time of his infamous residency.
I saw Paul Van Dyk debut in 1996 and play to a handful of people at a tempo that was too fast for most people at that time!
I saw Tiesto to on several occasion's, playing to a room of just 1000 people.
I witnessed Sasha at his best on too many occasions to remember!
People move on and evolve.
We shouldn't knock those that pursue a commercial path if that is what they choose.
I still follow and like all the artist's concerned.
I've travelled to London to see Charlie May play to a handful of people at Cable and to
see Tiesto play to considerably more at Alexandra Palace and enjoyed both immensely.
I love the music of Nomad In The Dark as much as Tiesto's Kaleidoscope LP.
People laugh at me when I rave about Tiesto's Kaleidoscope LP but I don't mind.
I see it for what it is, a collaboration with non dance artists to produce mainly song
based music.
Everything has it's place and I enjoy the variety.
Not everyone has the gift of being a great music composer and producer.
In fairness to chunky, I believe he has contributed to the scene in his own individual way.
Sharing many rare cassette based mixes of our favorite DJ's and identifying tracks on limited
vinyl presses now gathering dust in many DJ's garages/basements etc. Keeping those tracks
alive for future generations to enjoy.
We all contribute in our own ways out of a shared common love, the music, and for that reason
even though we're different on some levels, we should always remain respectful to one another!Comment
