          Re: LeBron's future?

haters gonna hate, LeBron is still undoubtedly the best overall player in the NBA. No one fills up as many categories as this guy. I'm glad he left Cleveland and I hope he does get his ring with the Heat.

              Re: LeBron's future?

if he was, he wouldn't have had to jump ship and create a pseudo super team in Miami, and he certainly wouldn't have quit on his team, which christ sake he already has this season. he's a cry baby who deserves fuck all but all the booing he gets

Jordan, Magic, Bird, Kobe.. great players

^^^There is nothing super about that Miami team. I wouldnt be surprised if Miami trades any one of those three guys.

When saying best in the NBA, I was saying currently. It's difficult to compare Bird, Jordan, Johnson to today's game. Either way, Kobe is a clutch player only. He's great in situations where you need him the most. But LeBron is best all-around. His stats evidence that big time. He gets the numbers that are needed and he helped the Cavs, essentially by himself, get to the playoffs, conference finals, and eventually an NBA finals series. You think Mo Williams, Varajao, Anthony Parker, Delonte West could do that? No way. Do you think Mike Brown actually coached the team? No, that was LBJ--he WAS the Cavaliers. And props to him for breaking out of a team that kept sucking his talents dry.

And now that LBJ is gone (along with West to Boston who's done jack shit anyway), Cleveland is absolute crap, even with Antawn Jameson and JJ Hickson. LBJ cares about that ring, otherwise he'll be the biggest joker in the history of the NBA; to be one of the greatest NBA players to hold tons of titles and great stats except no NBA championship. And he knows that. No amount of 'fame' will hide that joke. The good thing is that he's got a lot of years left in him and I'm sure the Heat will grow to be a dominant team.

Unfortunately, LBJ, Wade, and Bosh are all like repelling magnets, with one or the other coming up with big games, never all of them at once. And with Miller/Haslem out, they're having to pick up more of the weight (except for James Jones, he's some hot shizz right now).

I think it's just trying to get the chemistry right at this moment. You have 3 monster athletes/superstars, 2 of which (Bosh, LBJ) have spent time carrying the slack for most of their previous teams. I think it might be a role issue as they're not use to having to depend on quality players around them to get numbers in (although Bosh did have Bargnani at his side). I just wish Bosh would step it up. He's quickly becoming the bitch of the 3. Anyway, I'll be watching to see how the Heat grow because I'm sure Riley wants nothing more than to see Orlando and Boston edged out to make way for a finals series against the Lakers.

                                Re: LeBron's future?

Considering where the Knicks are right now with Amare Stoudamire, it would have been quite intriguing fit if Lebron had decided to team up up with an dominant inside force. Those two would have found it easier to develop chemistry on the court. Maybe the current incarnation of the Heat will eventually find some chemistry, but it was such a joke when some pundits were saying before the season started that the Heat would tear through the regular season without a sweat.

Anyways, Lebron's decision over the summer has already made for a great NBA season. Now lets just fast forward to the playoffs in 5 months time and see what happens then!
