Hey guys. Like most of you, I've been thinking about donating some money to help the ppl in Asia. There are lots of organizations out there, but some are more effective and really spend the money honestly. i worry that my money will fall into the hands of some corrupt inidivduals and NOT to the ppl in need. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Definetely NOT the Red Cross. Obviously you guys over in EU didn't hear about the scandel after 9/11. Anyone who did would think twice before giving your money to an organization that keeps more then half of it. Hmmm, yea hear is $20 for the relief effort, I hope a small child gets new warm cloths because of this, oh but feel free to keep $12 of it to pay off your high level execs with a fat $120,000 bonus cheque because they are so underpaid.
UNICEF is the only organization of its kind thats worth a damn. At least with all the things I've read. They probably hoard it too. I say we start our own fund, and then carry the frickin money over and hand it to the people DIRECTLY that need it, or indirectly with supplies and food."The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws." - Tacitus (55-117 A.D.)
