    any one have ibiza experience

so, i *might* go to ibiza in april (yippy!!!)
its a looong story but i might get a free plane ticket, but here are the problems,
im on a very very limited budget as of right now,
    and im in school,
this is an oppertunity i don't want ot pass up, i might not be able to afford this for a long time ( the plane ticket alone from the states is like 700!!)
so im probabaly only gonna stay for a few days, seeing that ill have classes and can't really take a 2 week vacation...
so if you guys could help me out with prices of clubs!! i don't know the exact dates so i can't see who spinning where,
but how much are clubs? iv heard its about 100 bucks!! wtf!! i can't go if its that xpensive, are there guestlists? advace tickets?
iv always wanted to go to manumissison, pacha and the such, biut i don't mind small partys and the such, do they have little music festivals out there???
any info possible would be great, it would help me determine if this is a possiblity for me, and how much i should start saving
    thanx in advance guys!!!!! :P

You may find that April is very much out of season - at best most clubs probably don't have opening parties until late May/early June.

If I were you I'd see if you can get a flight later in the year (i.e. summer).

Plus you'd better get saving now ... the clubs are very expensive at 35 Euro's entry and a whopping 50 Euro's for We Love Sunday's at Space -Diggers played opening and closing parties in 2004 plus Sasha and Zabiela made regular appearances.

Oh .. and its cheaper to buy pills than it is to buy tiny bottles of water (which is good or bad news depending on your perspective).

The best cheap deal on the Island - Bora Bora's free all day parties ended last year when the bar was sadly closed down.

Re: any one have ibiza experience

You say you`re on a limited budget? I`de seriously think about going somewhere else on holiday till you can afford Ibiza... it`s gonna cost you a lot of money if you want to go clubbing every night. There are advanced tickets on sale but they are priced at the same value as paying on the door. The owners over there know people will pay the prices so they charge the prices.

If you do decide to go then my advise to you is to go down ito Ibiza town where all the gay bars are and ask around for tickets to the big clubs. Chat to the local bar owners (a lot of whom are English) and get friendly with them, they always know promoters for the big nights and may be able to get you in cheaper or if you are very lucky, as i have been, get you in free. You gotta get pally with them though.

After you`ve done all that then you have the prices of drinks to cope with ! A bottle of water is gonna cost you around ?4 and i`ts not as though you can just go fill it up in the washroom cos you just don`t drink Spanish water. A brandy and coke is going to set you back half you`re holiday budget so get as drunk as you can/want before you go out. The mini marts are pretty cheap when it comes to buying beers and such..that is if you stick to the local stuff and not the imports like Stellaaaaa etc etc.

If you think you can afford to do all this then get your ass on that plane and take my word for it You will never want to holiday anywhere else ever again.

        Good luck and happy saving.

*EDIT* don`t go in April unless you want to have a quiet holiday, there`ll be fuck all going on.

          I'm afraid that drink prices have gone up even further - a jack'n'coke was a massive 12.50Euro's at Pacha (that's ?9.00 or $17) -
          Space is 10 Euros.

The fittest bar maid I've ever seen served me a large measure ... but that was of scant consolation - luckily Sasha & Hernan made up for it with sterling performances on the decks.

If you're after cost-effective narcotics you'll have to find a good local contact.

It`s just an island full of beautifull people but unfortunately you have to pay a heavy price to see them.
