Not all the best summer parties are in Ibiza you know… Leeds will still rock hard this summer as Filth continues to do what they do best – party! June at Mint Club sees headline slots from Spain’s leading DJ, Wally Lopez, and Dutch star Koen Groeneveld.

Wally is soon to release his Global Underground mix CD and is the latest in a long line of prodigious talents to have be charged with the honour. The Spaniard, who runs Factoria Records and Factomania Group, can often be found wooing crowds at the best parties in the world (think Space, Ibiza, Exit Festival, MIinistry of Sound) whilst his productions and remixes also count many of the world’s top DJs as fans.

Koen Groeneveld meanwhile is one of the hottest new names in techno. His big hitting, rolling productions have won him not only slots at the top of many Beatport charts, but “Wake Turbulence” ended up being number in the Beatport Techno Top 10 of 2008 and was nominated as Best Techno Track at last year’s Beatport Music Awards.

Filth combines the best of underground music with the finest parts of the big room sounds, whilst those who party with the uproarious Northern crew like to nurture party vibes from dusk ‘til dawn: it’s not about looking, acting and pretending to be cool, it’s about genuine good times. Key to nurturing those inescapably good vibes are the team of Filth residents - Danny Savage, Luke Pompey, King Tut & the Wookie and Toolroom Knight’s Chris Special - all of whom have more than a trick or two up their sleeves, you’ll see…

On top of all that, when your home is one of the best small clubs in the country because of its ridiculous Funktion ONE sound system and mesmeric light panels, there’s nowhere you need to be more on a Saturday night than right at the heart of it all on the sweaty, cosy dance floor.
