    We have GPRS and 3G in the UK. 3G is still pretty shit due to the lack of transmitters. Even in Central London I struggle to get a signal on my laptop

        well most of the new models(not sure about the U.S) here are all Quad band... so either send away for one...

        3G is still fairly shit where i am aswell... lack of 3G coverage is the problem..

            well thats my final anwser...the S700i is sonys first phone designed for all markets there for its like quadband..

            I think theres a Motorola V3 raZor thats quad band aswell and looks sweet.
