In my city, you can "enjoy" the likes of Tiesto or AvB or Ferry Corsten .. the last capital city in europe, where majority of top house/techno djs have never beenComment

Yeah its basically 2 clubs next to each other under one owner (Studio and Dokk). Dokk is a little more underground around 1000 capacity club, Studio is up to maybe 3000. I remember a Sasha & Digg party there couple of years ago when it was just a hall (now it has bars in the middle, more sound & lights & lcd's), the worst party i've ever been to. It completely redefined the word "overcrowded", with around maybe 10 thousand people in and heat of 50+ celsius in the building. The following party after this one, with Nick, the promoter gave out free tickets to anyone who complained about s&d event.Comment

Yeah wondered into Studio by accident on a stag do about 3 months ago only to find Steve Lawler on. It's a massive club, very nicely done out but the roof is too high to give it any sort of atmosphere. It feels more like a club night held in a rented space which shouldn't be a club. Too much pretty lighting going on and not enough dark spaceComment

Alright i am back. Amazing experience as always, Hungarians just love them. Nick was starting with his first 2 hours and he skipped all the warmup crap, playing and rocking the place without mercy from the beginning. He played a lot of big tracks of the last months in a very enjoyable fashion and having many "hands in the air" moments throughout the set. After his 2 hours i thought i can't go better and hell i was wrong When Jody joined him for the WOW show (1.5 hours) the place just went nuts. They started with "Only Love" and played a mix of mostly older tracks from first 2 albums and from wlm. They missed a lot of their known stuff from Don't Look Now, although the highlight of the night came from this album with iconic Killa (you couldn't hear a word with all people screaming a cheering when they recognized Killa melody). I don't remember having seen this kind of responsive audience in a very long time. You could easily compare it to any big rock show. Last track if i remember right was We Love Machine after which Jody started to play the last 2 hours. We left after about 30mins into his gig because of the long way home but the place was still packed around 4am in the morning.
I did a few videos on my cell i will check them to see if there's anything usable to publish. Overall a 10/10 event.
p.s. Nick played all night from laptop. It seems he finally overcame the fear of having a system crash during performance.Comment
