Anyone interested in aquariums/fish tanks?

Just getting started. Have my fish tank for like 4 months or something. Anyone else have a fishtank/aquarium in their livingroom? Pics?

Looks nifty...too bad that all the fish would be killed on the first party by my friends pouring beer into the tank, so that stuff is a no go for me... :cry:

Well i`m not really interested in it but my parents used to have some sea horses and catfish when i was younger. They were into it big style, 3 huge tanks they we had with every living water creature you can think of.... well almost. If i remeber rightly they don`t half take some looking after.

Catfish... aren't they agressive? They get big... do you know howmany gallons/liters the tanks had?

I think they are poisonous but i never stuck my hand in to find out. Again trying to remember, they had a load of spines on thier back which stuck up when they were being unfriendy, thats where the venom was.... i think.

Yeah, they do that when they're freightened of angry. Gotta be careful.

I only have warm water fishies. I have 7 "Pterophyllum Scalare" or Moonfish. One of the most gorgeous fish in my tank.

So you had a salt-water tank aswell. And yes, they are pretty cool huh.

I have a 55 gallon freshwater fish tank. In fact, I have 5 of that same angelfish you posted in that pic I'll see if I can get some pictures up.
